- 360 g (Half Sleeves) Pasta
- 4 Tomatoes
- 250 g Shrimps
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
- a bunch of Parsley
- a tuft of Basil
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Black Pepper
An unusual way of understanding pasta. The classic recipe is enriched with the presence of ginger: fresh, a little spicy, exotic. Pasta with tomato, ginger and shrimp is an ideal first course for all seasons. Easy to prepare, it goes well with fresh white wines.
Blanch 4 tomatoes for a few seconds, then remove the peel and slice them, removing the seeds. Make a diced one and put them in a bowl, adding salt and pepper.
Fry the onion in a pan with extra virgin olive oil, then sauté the shrimps for a few minutes, until they have browned.
At this point add the diced tomato, prepared earlier, and cook for a few minutes.
Add 1 teaspoon of grated ginger and continue cooking until the sauce has thickened. Season with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Cook the pasta in abundant salted water.
Once drained, season with the prepared sauce. Serve, sprinkle with chopped parsley and basil at the time.
