The combination of cheeses with honey helps to enhance the different peculiarities of the ingredients. For example, a slightly sapid cheese will be better matched to a honey with a strong taste while a strong and spicy cheese will be better combined with a delicate honey. These combinations are now widespread on Italian tables and have contributed to spreading the knowledge of the great variety of honeys.
The basic preparation from which we start is very simple also because not everyone likes spicy cheeses or honeys with a strong taste so I decided to prepare with you a combination of ricotta / honey / nuts that can be considered among starters , aperitifs, aperitifs, sunsets … they are tidbits or snacks of incredible speed!
The honey I used is honey produced at home, very good but with ricotta you can really match any honey.
Preparing the ricotta bites, honey and nuts is very simple. In fact, rather than preparation, we can talk about assembling ingredients.
Take 2 tablespoons and shape the ricotta and place them on the plate.
Take a teaspoon of honey and let it fall flush with the ricotta.
Garnish with the hazelnuts or pistachios granules or walnut kernels.
